American Jared Brick went to the Caribbean in June 2022 to celebrate his son’s birthday. In honor of the holiday, he bought himself and his son an Apple Watch to stay connected even when there is no iPhone nearby.

He went diving twice a day wearing the watch, but at one point the device flew out of his hands and got lost in the ocean, and he discovered the loss later. Brick immediately turned on the disappearance mode and no longer hoped that anyone would find them, much less give them back.

A year later, the man received a message from an unknown subscriber that the watch had been found. It continued to work, and thanks to this, Brick’s phone number finally arrived. The result: the Apple Watch was mailed to the owner, he received it, and everything really worked as usual.
