Roskomnadzor has sent an official letter to Google LLC demanding that it unblock the channels of Russian authors on YouTube, according to the Mash Telegram channel.

The publication clarified that the letter was sent to Google LLC CEO Sundar Pichai. The letter contains evidence of channel blocking and lists the most important ones.

Roskomnadzor confirmed to the publication that it had sent the letter to Google, asking for the channels to be unblocked in order to comply with Russian laws on the free receipt of information.

RB.RU sent a request to Roskomnadzor, but had not received a response by the time of publication.
