Russian technology company Yadro has launched a free online course on circuit design. Children and adults alike will learn how to assemble simple circuits, work with microcircuits on breadboards and even build their own stopwatch, the company’s press service told RB.RU.

Circuit design is the art of creating functional electrical circuits from basic components (transistors, resistors, microcircuits, etc.) in such a way as to obtain a functioning electronic device.
The course consists of 11 video lessons lasting up to half an hour, available on the “Earthful Engineer” project page. It is conducted by Pavel Kirichenko, candidate of technical sciences, senior circuit engineer at Yadro.
To start training, you don’t need any special knowledge or experience. Each lesson is accompanied by an article with the theory clearly presented. To practice, no soldering or programming is required; you will only need a small set of parts and equipment accessible to everyone, the report notes.
