The cloud computing platform Microsoft Azure may be to blame for this. In many countries, television channels have been interrupted and problems have arisen at airports.

Users reported the appearance of a “blue screen of death” on Windows 10 devices. Similar cases were recorded in the United States. Problems arose with the Australian broadcaster ABC News, and the British television channel Sky News stopped broadcasting. The US Federal Aviation Administration said that all Delta, United and American Airlines flights were suspended due to “communication problems.”

The DownDetector service clarifies that the failure is also observed in the work of Visa, Amazon and others. Hundreds of complaints have been received in the last few hours. Problems have arisen with railway services in the UK. In Israel, the work of hospitals, banks, post offices and emergency assistance systems is paralyzed.

Note that these problems have not affected Russia en masse; no such reports have yet been received.
