The 9000 series will include four product tiers, starting with the RX 9040 and ending with the RX 9070, and there is no information yet on the RX 9080.
AMD is also updating its RDNA3 and RDNA3.5 based products. The new integrated graphics of the Strix Halo APU, which will be unveiled at CES 2025, will include up to 40 computing units. These include the RX 8060S, RX 8050S and RX 8040S.
Meanwhile, AMD is preparing RDNA3 updates like the RX 7650 GRE and other xx50 variants. This marks a change in AMD’s naming strategy, bringing it closer to NVIDIA’s approach.
