Customers of the airline received email messages on the evening of July 20 that systems around the world were almost back up and running following a failure by an external provider.

The company said that even though the cause of the failure was beyond its control, customers whose flights were flagged will automatically receive a refund. It will be available in the form of WIZZ credits in the amount of 120%, with the bonuses being awarded within 24 hours of the flight’s scheduled departure.

If a customer intends to rebook their flight instead of receiving a refund, they should call the company’s hotline.

You can also rebook a flight or request a refund through the official website or mobile app.

The company thanked Wizz Air passengers for their patience and understanding and promised to help each and every one of them.
