Telegram has made monetization of Russian channels available. Funds will be paid in the internal currency of the messenger Stars. Telegram channel owners noticed updates in the interface.

Telegram has allowed monetization of Russian channels
The monetization feature is displayed in the “Statistics” section, next to the “voting” data. The option is available only for channel owners; the tab is not displayed for administrators.
It also states that if you reach level 50, you will be able to disable ads and opt out of monetization.
The monetization program appeared on Telegram as part of a major update in April 2024. Channel owners have the opportunity to receive 50% of advertising revenue if more than a thousand people subscribe to them.
Payments are made in the Toncoin cryptocurrency, which can be withdrawn without commission or used to pay for ads in the messenger, collection addresses or Telegram-Premium giveaways.
Stars Telegram launched its own in-house currency in early June.
