Big changes in design, small changes on screen

Interestingly, both Poco F6 and Poco X6 have almost the same display. This is about 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.. Both models have a typical brightness of 500 nits, although there is a difference in the maximum brightness that both terminals can achieve. Specifically, the Poco F6 has a maximum brightness of 2400 nits (in HBM mode). Poco X6, on the other hand, achieves a brightness of just 1800 nits.

There’s a clear winner in design: Poco F6 has a more premium look and is different from the rest of the brand’s mobile phones: the back panel has a different finish, which is highlighted by the dual camera modules, the modules of which are located independently, as well as new color options for finishing, among which One is included in “titanium”, reminiscent of natural tone of this material.

The Poco X6, on the other hand, has a more pronounced photography module with three sensors inside a rectangle located at the top. Its colors are also bolder, including the brand’s signature yellow tone.

Performance and autonomy

Small X6

Apart from the design, Poco F6 and Poco X6 differ in performance and battery. The brand’s new mobile phone comes with a processor Snapdragon 8s 3rd generationwhich is more powerful and effective than Snapdragon 7s 2nd generation. In any case, both are available in two versions: with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage or with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.

In terms of battery, Poco X6 has one of 5100 mAh capacity, while Poco F6 5000 mAh. Of course, the Poco F6 has 90W fast charging; Poco X6 has 67 W.

Are these differences noticeable in everyday life? It all depends on how you intend to use the device. For more demanding tasks like image editing, gaming, etc., the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 that comes with the Poco F6 may perform better. However, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 still does a great job. As for the battery, the difference of 100 mAh is minimal if we take into account that the processor included in the new Xiaomi mobile is more efficient than its predecessor.

Poco F6 vs Poco X6, camera comparison

Poco X6 Pro

There are some very interesting differences in the camera section. Poco X6 has a more versatile configuration, and the resolution of various sensors is higher, despite the lower price. Despite this, we must remember that photography is not only about resolution.

In particular, Poco X6 has Main sensor 64 megapixels, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens, allowing you to take photos at short distances. On the other hand, Poco F6 has only two sensors: main 50 megapixels resolution and, apparently, the same 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera that we see in the cheaper model.

Coming to the front camera, the Poco F6 wins in resolution with a 20-megapixel sensor compared to the 16-megapixel sensor included in the Poco X6.

The difference is 150 euros, which one costs more?

Bit F6

Poco F6 goes on the market at a price of 449 euros for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, and also for 499 euros for the version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. Both versions have a launch promotion whereby it can be purchased for 389.99 or 419.99 euros respectively.

The price difference between Poco F6 and Poco X6 is around 110 euros if the promotion is taken into account, or 150 euros if both models are available at the regular price.

Which one is worth more? It depends on what you are looking for in a mobile phone. If you prioritize design and want better performance, the Poco F6 is an ideal option. Its camera could also be a little better, although it has a lower resolution. And its other characteristics are quite good.
