Marketplace Wildberries and outdoor advertising operator Russ have created a unified media department that will promote the brands, Wildberries’ press service told RB.RU.
The structure will unite all segments of “outdoor advertising”. Within its framework, companies organize analysis, research and media divisions.
The new department’s general manager will be the former commercial director of Russ, Boris Peshnyak. One of his key tasks will be to unite the commercial structures of Wildberries and Rus. Top managers of Wildberries and Rus, Lyudmila Marlier and Yuri Usoltsev, responsible for marketing and sales, will retain their key functions.
Wildberries and Russ, which previously announced their merger, have launched a click-through service for external advertisers. The platform will allow those who are not represented in the market to run advertising campaigns.
