As TASS writes, citing a court decision, the rapper filed a lawsuit against the international music label Warner Music for copyright infringement. However, the court did not record any violations during the consideration of the case.

Rakitin filed a lawsuit in August 2023. In the complaint, he alleged that Warner Music posted 37 of his songs on iTunes without the musician’s knowledge.

The Moscow Arbitration Court and the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal agreed that there was no copyright infringement.

It has thus been established that Warner Music is legally using the rights to Rakitin’s recording. The organisation received rights from a third party – individual entrepreneur Vadim Mats. Mats, in turn, has an agreement with Rakitin.
