The Central Bank of the Russian Federation has published an instruction allowing one-time transfer of 30 million rubles to other banks free of charge. The document was published by the Bank of Russia.
Since May 1, 2024, a law has been in force in Russia that allows transfers through the SBP to other banks for up to 30 million rubles per month without commission. However, after the law came into force, banks began to set a limit of 1 million rubles for a one-time transfer.
It is prohibited to set a limit on the amount of a single bank transfer, the Central Bank recalled. The published guideline will come into force on July 28.
