DNS chief Alekseev warned Bakalchuk about the risk of total loss of Wildberries
This statement was made by DNS Network co-owner and CEO Dmitry Alekseev on his Telegram channel.
We remind you that Wildberries and the outdoor advertising operator Russ Group announced a merger on June 18. Tatiana Bakalchuk is expected to become the general director of the merged group of companies, and the head of Russ Group, Robert Mirzoyan, will become the CEO.
Alekseev noted that, according to Forbes, Bakalchuk’s fortune was worth $7.2 billion in the winter of 2024. According to him, the company would have been valued at no less than $10 billion at the time of its IPO.
“If all this happens, or rather, what remains of it, will happen. Tatiana Bakalchuk will not only give away 35% of the $10 billion (in dollars!) business for 7 million rubles, but may even lose control over the World Bank,” he said.
According to him, the new company received a “registration” at the legal address of the Russ group. Russ’s share in RVB LLC is 35%, which is 1.7% more than a third.
“These are strong positions in corporate wars and it will be difficult to displace Robert Mirzoyan…”, says the businessman.
He also fails to understand what a merger with Russ could bring to WB. To date, 27 subsidiary legal entities have already been transferred to Stinn LLC from Wildberry LLC, organizations “including WB logistics and some structural divisions.” This is the foundation of WB, and according to him, Wildberries can only retain the rights to the trademarks and the website.
