AirPods headsets allow you to switch between different noise-canceling modes, and last year the developers added an adaptive mode that switches automatically. Unfortunately, this does not work the best; it is easier to set up special automation.

With the Shortcuts app, you can, for example, turn on transparency mode when you enter the office and switch to noise cancellation when you leave.

How to Set Up AirPods Noise Cancellation Toggle on iPhone

1. Download the free Teams app.

2. In the application tab Autonomization create a new automation.

3. Specify the condition under which automation should occur. For example, when you come home or to the office, when you connect to the desired Wi-Fi network, or another convenient trigger.

4. As an action, select Set noise control mode.

5. In the action, specify your headset, at the moment of setting up the automation, you need to put it on. And select the desired noise reduction mode.

6. Provide automation and create variable scripts. To exit the specified zone or when disconnecting from Wi-Fi, the headphones switch to another noise-canceling mode.

So there is no need to manually switch the headset to the desired mode.
