The issue of fire safety at Wildberries facilities became acute after a large-scale fire at a warehouse in Shushary.

The company paid the sellers 3 billion rubles as compensation.

Previously, fire safety issues were handled, among others, by VB Development LLC, which is 100% owned by Tatyana Bakalchuk’s husband Vladislav. In July it became known that the couple was divorcing. Tatyana Bakalchuk, with the participation of the Russ Group, created the joint company RVB LLC, to which she transferred part of the assets. The cost of the joint venture was estimated at 500 billion rubles. Since May, VB Development, owned by Vladislav Bakalchuk, stopped publishing procurement procedures for WB, its only client. The husband made a number of “incriminating statements” about his wife’s business activities.
