“With the exit from the European market, buying cars there will be a problem. At the same time, the Chinese automotive sector is presenting many successful models on the Russian market. We should not forget about the development of the domestic automotive industry,” the expert says.

According to him, in the coming years there will be a significant increase in sales of domestic cars thanks to the launch of new models and projects. They can and should become more accessible to the population. Most likely, prices will not increase much.

The automotive market will remain stable and adapt to the new conditions. Most likely, there will be no sharp declines or critically low sales figures. Moderate growth of 2.5% could occur until the end of 2024. Due to the current situation, it is rather difficult to give precise forecasts.

Competition and changes in consumer demand can help curb price increases. Government support through various programs and benefits will also have an impact on market dynamics.
