The supervisory authority identified signs of infringement: the company set economically unjustified retail prices for AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline.

“When exchange rates fell between April and June 2024, the organization did not reduce retail prices, but instead observed their increase,” the FAS reported.

The department concluded that the company sets the highest retail gasoline prices compared to other economic entities.

Now, after considering the case, Lukoil may be fined administratively or the company will receive an order requiring it to transfer the income received from illegal actions to the federal budget.

Earlier, RB.RU reported that prices for car parts and services in Russia could rise by up to 3%. The reasons are fluctuations in the national currency exchange rate, customs duties, sanctions and many other aspects.
