According to Mishustin, leading organizations in the field of bioeconomy and biotechnology are already operating in Russia. Now their potential will be combined in the new center. As the Prime Minister noted, bioeconomy involves the development of innovations aimed at reducing environmental burden, efficient use of natural resources and creation of new types of fuels, such as biogas and biodiesel.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stressed that Russia has the necessary resources and scientific infrastructure for the successful development of the bioeconomy, which will allow the country to advance in this promising field.
