SBP is testing a new NFC payment method that can turn an Android smartphone into a payment terminal. This was reported to Izvestia by the NSPK (operational and payment clearing center of the SBP).
The new function is implemented using SoftPOS technologies previously developed by Visa, Mastercard and Mir. It allows you to convert any Android smartphone into a payment terminal and accept payments from other smartphones with NFC.
Acceptance of payment through SoftPOS can be used in various trade and service enterprises. We are sure that it will be in demand among small and medium-sized businesses, as it allows you to install an Android smartphone with an NFC module in a mobile terminal without purchasing other equipment and quickly offer the client a convenient and secure method of cashless payment.

To pay, the client must have the SBPey application installed. The publication of the economy that payments using NFC under the new scenario will take place on iPhones.
At this point, it is not clear how to implement this functionality on iOS. Apple does not provide anyone with access to NFC on iPhones, so on iOS you can only pay with Apple Pay. Other services are not found.
