Microsoft Teams, which is quite popular among businesses and everyday users, can be quite a frustrating software if you have two or more accounts. Fortunately, the new Teams update allows users to manage their personal and professional accounts more easily without any issues.

The new update can now be downloaded through the traditional application and brings one of the most anticipated functions by users. It is now possible to run Microsoft Teams in a single application, which the company calls Unified Teams, without having to open the two software separately.

Although it may seem simple, the user can easily choose which account they want to use without having to install both applications. Like other software, an account selector is available to change the profile for personal, professional or educational purposes.

To add or access additional accounts, simply click on your profile icon in the top right corner, click on the account you’ll be using, and Teams will then open a new tab with the selected account without breaking the organization.

An important detail that Microsoft commented on is the possibility of joining meetings as a guest. If you do not have an account or cannot log in on time, it is enough to join the meeting as a guest without any problems.

In fact, for every open meeting, Microsoft Teams will ask the user which account they want to use. It looks like the company has finally figured out, after years of struggle, how to turn its video conferencing app into something simpler and more palatable for everyone.
