According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the robot will have an iPad-like display that will act as a “face” and a hand-like robot.
The robot, developed using advanced AI technologies, is expected to be released around 2026 or later, which will give the company time to develop and test its new Apple Intelligence technology.
In fact, this robot will be the organization’s first step towards creating more advanced home devices.
However, it will likely only perform basic functions at first and will be a concept device rather than a fully functional product.
Regardless, the move could pave the way for future robotics developments, including possible mobile robots and even humanoid machines, which Apple is also said to be exploring.
