Yandex presents its second-generation Station Light. This model has an LED display, a powerful speaker and can connect to familiar Wi-Fi networks on its own. The main innovation is that the very sensitive and sincere Alice now lives in the device. Now she can cheer, sympathize and even wink from the screen. The speaker uses emotional synthesis technology. Alice now takes into account the context of the conversation and chooses the appropriate intonation: for example, kindness, surprise, sympathy, resentment or sadness. She also has the option “Understand children” – she is able to recognize a child’s voice and now shows emotions not only during a conversation, but also during other activities, such as listening to music or reading fairy tales.

In addition to Alice’s emotions, you can also see the time on the screen and it can also display the air temperature.

The speaker has a power of 6 watts, it was designed specifically for this device: the sound has become more powerful, clean and rich, and the bass has become more pronounced.

“Station Light 2 is available in three colors: purple, pink and blue. By the end of the year, models will appear in orange, green and dark gray. The speaker comes with bright stickers and masks that can be used to decorate the body of the device,” Yandex press service told RB.RU.

The company also noted that in the coming months a specially designed portable battery for Station Light 2 will go on sale, with which it will be able to play music for up to three hours. You can buy a new speaker for 5990 rubles. This can be done in Yandex Market, M.Video, Eldorado, DNS, Citylink and OZON.

Earlier, RB.RU reported that Yandex had begun creating an analogue of the Miro platform that had left Russia.
