Samsung unveiled its first glasses-free 3D monitor, the Odyssey, at Gamescom 2024.

The model is equipped with two cameras that track the user’s eyes. A lenticular lens is installed at the top of the screen, which displays two different images: one for the left eye, one for the right, thereby creating a three-dimensional effect.

Odyssey 3D can seamlessly switch between 2D and 3D modes depending on the user’s preference.

The monitor is available with a 27-inch and 37-inch QLED screen. Both will feature 4K resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms response time.

The device has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a stand with height and tilt adjustment.

The company has not announced prices for the monitors, which are expected to go on sale before the end of 2024. [Sammobile]
