Previously, users were able to bypass these restrictions using certain methods, such as adding the “/product server” option during system setup, which allowed them to bypass the hardware check. However, with the latest update released in the Canary channel, this method no longer works.

The company is clearly tightening its policy against users trying to install Windows 11 on incompatible devices.

For now, this update only affects the Canary branch, meaning workarounds may still work in stable versions of the system, but Microsoft will likely continue to patch similar gaps in other branches in the near future.
