The claim was filed with the court on July 11, but was left unresolved due to a lack of evidence of payment of the state fee and the sending of copies to the parties in dispute. The deadline for correcting the deficiencies was set until August 19, but a week before that the plaintiff asked for the claim to be returned.

Prime, citing the press service of M.Video-Eldorado, writes that the retailer and MTS agreed in July on a pre-trial settlement of the dispute and that the lawsuit will be dropped.

It is known that M.Video was interested in the trademark for two classes of services that the defendant did not use. According to Rospatent, it is valid for one class of goods and four classes of services. Among the services that the plaintiff did not claim are telecommunications, radio and television broadcasting, Internet access, satellite communications, construction and repairs.

Earlier, RB.RU reported that on July 2, the M.Video-Eldorado group submitted an application to Rospatent to register the trademarks “M.finance” and “M.finance” for the provision of financial services.
