Sber will resume issuing mortgages for IT specialists from August 21, 2024. The credit institution is updating previously approved applications in accordance with the new terms of the program. This was announced by the first deputy chairman of the bank’s board, Kirill Tsarev, as quoted by the press service.

The maximum rate under the Domklik program will be 6%, the down payment will be 20.1% of the property value. The maximum loan amount is up to 9 million rubles. Citizens will be able to receive up to 18 million rubles, but the amount exceeding the limit will be paid at the market exchange rate.

Conditions for obtaining a mortgage: the maximum age of the borrower is 50 years, he must work in an IT company in the Russian Federation, which must be accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development and receive tax benefits.

According to the program, it is possible to purchase finished or under-construction housing in a new building, a plot of land with a residential building from a legal entity or an individual entrepreneur and for its construction, as well as to build a house under contract with a legal entity or an individual entrepreneur.

  • In 2022, at the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation, a preferential mortgage program for IT specialists was launched. Over the entire period of operation, IT specialists received more than 75 thousand mortgage loans totaling 700 billion rubles.
  • In the middle of this summer, the Russian government extended preferential mortgages for IT specialists until 2030. The program does not apply to Moscow and St. Petersburg, as the authorities decided to focus on preserving the potential of IT personnel in the regions.
