The university press service reported that important areas of cooperation were discussed at the meeting, including the creation of therapeutic vaccines based on neoantigens for cancer treatment, the improvement of vaccines against tuberculosis and the development of new generation antibacterial drugs. Gunzburg stressed the importance of using KFU’s laboratories and production facilities for the accelerated implementation of new developments.
Earlier, at the meeting with President Rustam Minnikhanov, issues of cooperation between NICEM and scientific centers and universities of Tatarstan were discussed. Gunzburg appreciated the scientific potential and contribution of Kazan University to medicine, noting its significant experience in conducting clinical research.
