WhatsApp will launch another feature that will help you deal with a crowded inbox. In an experimental version of Messenger, I found the option to mark all messages as read at once.
Rediscovered by website WABetaInformationThe new feature is available in WhatsApp Beta version 2.24.18.11 for Android. However, testers still can’t access.
This option is hidden in the three-dot menu at the top right corner of the screen. When you select the “Mark all as read” option, All pending chats are unmarked.
This is the perfect solution for: Save time for users who can’t see everything being discussed on MessengerPreviously there were two options: go into each conversation or select them individually and tick the “Mark as read” option.
For now, the feature is not available to testers and there is no estimate of when it will be made available to the general public. But the truth is that, although it is a very simple addition, it needs to be available in WhatsApp Beta before its final release.
Many new features in development
In addition to the new option, WhatsApp is preparing other interesting features to make the messenger even more useful in everyday life. One of the most interesting functions is the ability to transfer files without needing an internet connection.
The messenger also develops mechanisms to protect the user from spam from unknown numbers.
In both cases, there is no public release date.
