The Tverskoy Court of Moscow arrested Vadim Belyaev, the former co-owner of Otkritie Holding, in absentia, in a fraud case, according to information in the court file.

The court file also shows that on August 28, a motion for the arrest of former board member of Otkritie Holding Mikhail Nazarychev will be considered.
On August 26, Vedomosti reported that Belyaev and Nazarychev were included in the international wanted list and that the investigation requested their arrest in absentia. They are accused of committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed by an organized group or on an especially large scale).
Belyaev is currently abroad, where he lives under the name Wolfson. In 2024, there were reports that he was the subject of an investigation related to circumventing US sanctions.
On August 28, Boris Galkin, CEO of the flexible tablet manufacturer Plastic Logic, was arrested in a multi-million dollar theft case in Moscow. The man is accused of embezzling funds from Rusnano.
