Apple will unveil the maximum number of versions of new smartphones at the company’s upcoming presentation on September 9. Details are reported by PhoneArena.

The journalists studied the latest news and official statements from Apple. We managed to find out that the lineup itself will be represented by four devices: iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. And if we take into account special versions for the European Union (EU) market, then the company will actually release eight modifications at once.
Models for EU countries will have more settings and users will have the opportunity to control how many features work. For example, they will even be able to remove the App Store, install their own payment system instead of Apple Pay, download a custom keyboard and set up spam filters.
The publication notes that only the principled stance of EU leaders will allow European consumers to gain such control over the iPhone that users in the US and other countries can only dream of.
In July, Apple agreed to host the Epic Games Store for iOS in Europe. Apple was previously convicted of obstructing the creation of a store and the conflict between the parties has been ongoing since 2020.
