At the same time, 92% of respondents are aware of the importance of working with documents.
17% of creative industry representatives sign contracts only when working on complex projects, and 11% when the client insists. Only 16% provide legal support for their work.
One third of respondents (32%) said they had encountered various problems due to the lack of formalisation of employment relationships. These include: pay and working conditions, as well as issues related to copyright.
45% of respondents had problems with the latter aspect. In a quarter of cases (26%), everything was resolved by mutual agreement, in 14% – within the framework of a verbal agreement, in 5% – through the court.
The data was obtained through an anonymous survey of 1,100 representatives of the creative industries. The survey was conducted in August 2024.
