Megamarket experts have analysed which products become more popular in autumn and have predicted the situation for the current season. In a comment to RB.RU, they noted that sales of products for New Year’s decor and home comfort, board games and winter sports equipment have now increased.

In autumn, demand for home textiles increases by about three times compared to the summer season. Table lamps, diffusers and incense sticks are increasingly in demand. The “Home Fragrances” category becomes twice as popular in autumn. Humidifiers and air purifiers also led the growth, with moisturising creams also leading the way.
“Russians also warm themselves with hot drinks. Another trend: in autumn, the demand for dishes increases sharply compared to summer, the number of orders increases by 1.5 times; they buy mugs, thermoses, thermo mugs, cups, teapots and coffee makers – orders for these products increase by 2-3 times compared to summer and peak in winter,” Megamarket analysts said.
Board games are becoming popular in general, their demand increases every year, but in autumn it increases fivefold and remains high until almost spring.
Christmas decorations and trees usually start to be sold in October, but the peak occurs in late November and December – an increase of up to 300%. Products for winter recreation are bought even more at this time – skis are the leaders here, and skates and snowboards become more popular in early winter.
Major marketplaces, including Wildberries, Ozon, Megamarket and Yandex Market, are experiencing difficulties: their turnover is slowing down, according to analysts of the My Warehouse service, which works with sellers of these online platforms.
