With the development of virtual reality (VR) technologies, the importance of such systems is increasing, especially for users with physical limitations. The study focused on how posture and foot vibrations affect the realism of virtual walking. The results showed that synchronized vibrations increased the feeling of movement and immersion, especially when standing, but sitting and lying down also had beneficial effects.
These findings could be applied to the development of more inclusive VR programs, such as rehabilitation training for people with limited mobility or enhanced VR simulations. In the future, such technologies could make virtual entertainment and learning more accessible and realistic.
