By 2027, the volume of the Russian market for secure software development solutions will grow to 17.75 billion rubles, Vedomosti writes, citing a study by the Center for Strategic Research (CSR).

According to the most conservative forecasts of experts, by 2027 the market volume will almost double compared to 2023, according to the most optimistic ones – six times to 56 billion rubles. Two years ago the market amounted to 8.25 billion rubles, in 2023 it exceeded 9.5 billion rubles.
Tools for secure software development include tools for static code analysis, dynamic analysis, tools for analyzing libraries and external dependencies, among others, explained a representative of the Center for Social Development. In Russia, these products are developed by Positive Technologies, Swordfish Security and Jet Infosystems.
According to Igor Bederov, head of T.Hunter’s research department, these solutions reduce the likelihood of cyber threats and vulnerabilities in software being developed, both at the development stage and after its release.
The Centre for Social Development stressed that the dynamics of the secure development market will be comparable to the growth of the entire volume of national software development.
