In this way, companies react to the increase in the central bank’s key rate. The rise in prices was also influenced by the increase in the cost of borrowed funds, which they use due to the subsequent payment of long-term contracts.

In 2023, more than 30 large companies signed a “price charter” with the Ministry of Digital Development, according to which they must voluntarily limit the increase to 15% per year, taking into account inflation. According to the department, the cost of these developers does not exceed the established values.

According to a survey by the National Software Association, 70% of respondents have not increased software prices since last year. Otherwise, the cost over the past two years has increased within the limits set by the price chart.

Experts say that a sharp rise in software prices should not be expected; the industry practices long-term contracts, including multi-year and fixed-term ones.

Market participants believe that economic factors will have the most noticeable impact on the cost of IT services and solutions in early 2025. According to Informzashita forecasts, prices could then increase by a quarter.
