With the switch to OLED displays, Apple will eliminate longtime Japanese LCD panel manufacturers such as Japan Display (JDI) and Sharp from its supply chain.

In 2015, these companies were selling around 200 million iPhone screens per year, but by 2023 that amount had dropped to 20 million.

The new iPhone SE 4 is said to feature a similar design to the iPhone 14, with Face ID, USB-C port, A18 processor, and a larger 6.06-inch display. The new product is also expected to get up to 8GB of RAM.
