A statement from Sberbank has been filed in the Moscow Arbitration Court. The plaintiff is asking that JSC Svyaznoy Group of Companies, one of the companies of the Russian division of the international jewelry chain Pandora, be declared bankrupt; information about this is contained in the case file of the arbitration.

But in the spring, Sberbank filed a claim for recovery of about 4.5 billion rubles. It has also not been considered yet. The meeting is scheduled for October 22.
On August 20, the court dismissed the credit institution’s claim for more than 4.5 billion rubles against the Cypriot Panclub Enterprises Limited of the Russian Pandora due to problems with the authority. We were then talking about debts from 2014 and 2017.
A month earlier, Sberbank also filed a petition for bankruptcy for this company, and this claim has not yet been considered. The bank bought 35% of the Cypriot Panclub in 2014 and received another 65% in 2015 as debts.
Danish jewellery manufacturer Pandora froze its trade relations with Russia and Belarus in spring 2022 due to the events in Ukraine. At that time there were about 9 thousand stores worldwide.
This spring, Sberbank filed a lawsuit against its British subsidiary for 11.9 billion rubles. The structure is under external management. The lawsuit against Sberbank CIB (UK) was filed with the Moscow Arbitration Court.
