Kuznetsov stressed that biometric technology in Russia has reached a world level, providing high accuracy and security through the use of artificial intelligence. According to him, all statements about the possibility of using biometrics for surveillance purposes are unprofessional and unfounded.

Currently, there are about 750 thousand biometric terminals installed in Russia, and by the end of the year their number will reach one million. Kuznetsov added that users will be able to pay for purchases using biometrics, such as a smile, which lasts only 2-3 seconds.
