The longest building in Moscow is located on the Varshavskoye highway 125. The famous “lying skyscraper”, also known as the “Resurrection Arch” and the most caustic nickname – “kilometer of idlers”. The building was built for the Electronic Computer Research Center. NICEVT was engaged in the development of computers for space. Apparently, for the purpose of conspiring, they made it so noticeable 🙂
Two arch-shaped houses closer to the Moscow Ring Road are sometimes mentioned along with this building, supposedly built to divert attention. I found them. A house is located next to the Annino metro station. Visually, the arch is divided into two parts, but in reality the house consists of several sections, each of which has a separate number. The first part: Warsaw Highway, 143 buildings 1-2-3-4-5. The second part – the Warsaw highway, 145 buildings 1-2, then 147 buildings 1-2 and 149 building 1. The street that divides the house into two parts has a memorable name – Mosstroyput.

The second house is located closer to the center near the Yangel Academician metro station. Also residential, also divided into two parts, the sections also have separate numbering: Rossoshansky proezd, 2 buildings 1-2-3; Rossoshansky proezd, 4 buildings 1-2-3; Rossoshansky proezd, 4 buildings 1-2. But still this house is different from the previous one. That P-3 series, this P-47 series.
I walked through the yard. The grandmothers sit near the house, just like in the good old days. A major review is currently underway. Building materials lie, construction cradles hang. Many entrances are open, you can go to look. There is nothing unusual, except for the shape of the house and the extreme length.
Further on is the second longest part of the house. On the doorstep there are many different shops and MFC’s. The length of the route from the first to the last entrance is about 900 meters, more than 10 minutes on foot. Out of interest, I measured the first house on the map with a ruler, it turned out 650 meters in the yard.
The second house has a curious nuance: before there was a second opening between the buildings symmetrically. It was later built. Instead, building 2 appeared, building 3. As evidence, local residents argue that this section is different from the rest: everywhere the facing tiles are blue, this one has blue ones, instead of small windows there are full-size windows , there are no yellow gas pipes – there are electric stoves in the house.
