In December, Sber plans to launch interbank bioacquisition, which will allow the possibility of “Payment with a smile” to be offered to customers of all banks that accept cards in Russia.
The service, launched in the summer of 2023, shows that its popularity is growing – more than 750 thousand bio-terminals have already been installed, and by the end of the year their number will increase to 1 million. Dmitry Malykh, senior vice president of Sberbank, head of the Transactional Banking block, emphasized that the service has become attractive to customers of other banks and accessible to all adult citizens.
