The decision was made in connection with the tightening of sanctions against Russia. Klein did not provide further details.

Coda is a collaboration service. It allows you to create working notes, briefs, project maps, timelines, etc. Features include workflow integration with Jira and Slack.

  • On August 14, the remote collaborative work platform Miro announced the closure of access for Russian and Belarusian users. The service will stop serving customers on September 12 due to the entry into force of US sanctions.
  • On August 27, the note-taking and database service Notion announced its withdrawal from Russia. Its decision is also related to US sanctions.

In June, the US Treasury expanded sanctions against Russian companies. As of September 12, US IT companies are prohibited from providing services to clients in the Russian Federation. This includes selling design software, cloud services and business management solutions, and providing consulting services.
