However, the latest version is currently only available to developers through the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). The update is still not available for regular users, including owners of Google Pixel devices. Even the September update for the Pixel runs on Android 14.
Google promises that Android 15 will come to Pixel devices, including the recently announced Pixel 9 series, “in the coming weeks.”
Other manufacturers like Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and others will also receive the update “in the coming months.”
There were previously rumors that the update for the Pixel wouldn’t arrive until October, and Google seems to have confirmed that, albeit indirectly.
