The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia is conducting a new selection of projects in which it will be possible to replace foreign software. For this purpose, 6 billion rubles will be raised. A message about this appeared on the ministry’s Telegram channel.

“The Ministry of Digital Development is currently initiating the next selection of particularly significant projects. New IT projects that replace foreign software can be granted the status of particularly important and receive a state subsidy of up to 50% of their cost,” the publication says.

They also noted that the state has financed 32 projects over the past two years. The next selection of applications from clients for IT solutions has now begun: applications can be submitted until September 18.

Project requirements: must be related to priority areas, must be a fully comprehensive solution, client and developer must not be affiliated, etc.

You can submit an application through an application on the website of the Coordination Center of the Government of the Russian Federation, where you need to fill out a description and characteristics of the project, attach the necessary files and submit it for approval.

In September, the government plans to submit to the State Duma deputies a bill on fees to entrepreneurs in Russia for using foreign software.
