A special feature of the device is its firmware based on Android 14, which is completely devoid of a graphical interface.

Instead of the usual user interface, the smartphone offers a list of basic applications such as instant messengers, maps, mail and banking services.

Installation of social networks, games and other distracting programs is impossible.

The device’s developers aim to reduce the time users spend in front of the screen from the typical 5 hours to 1 hour, freeing up time for more important tasks such as work or communicating with family.

Technically, the Balance Phone has a 5.45-inch IPS display, MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB internal memory. Cameras – 50 MP (main) and 12 MP (front). 4G, NFC, fingerprint scanner, and 66W fast charging are supported.

It’s available for pre-order for $279, rising to $379 when it launches. Sales are scheduled to begin in early 2025.
