The volume of government procurement in the IT sector within the framework of 44-FZ, which regulates IT for government agencies and state-owned enterprises, increased by 8.7% over the same period last year and amounted to 200 billion rubles, Vedomosti writes about this.

Since the beginning of 2024, 55,200 purchases have been made, which is 11.5% more than in the same period last year, according to data from the analytical center Línea Derecha (one of the developers of the digital ruble).
The volume of purchases under Law 223-FZ, which regulates purchases from companies in which the state has a stake of 50% or more, as well as from other organizations with state participation, amounted to 72.77 billion rubles, which is 9.8% less than last year’s figures. At the same time, 21,124 such purchases were announced for 2024, which is 1% more than the previous year.
Purchases of software and licenses under 223-FZ amounted to 6,300 (down by 0.4%), hardware – 15,100 (up by 1.1%). Software was purchased for 33.24 billion rubles (down by 11.5%), equipment – 39.52 billion rubles (down by 8.4%).
In September, the government plans to submit to the State Duma deputies a bill on fees to entrepreneurs in Russia for using foreign software.
