The company confirmed its plans to open a retail outlet, but did not give a timeframe for the construction of the facility;
These specialized stores will sell cosmetics, chemicals and household goods not only from the VkusVill brand, but also from its partners. Currently, cosmetics and household chemicals can be purchased in all VkusVilla stores. About 99% of the cosmetics range is manufactured in Russia. This year, the retail chain started selling cosmetics on the Letual online marketplace.
The area of the new cosmetics stores will be about 200-250 sq. m, like any other point in the network, says Dmitry Tokarev, managing partner of Retaility. According to him, more investments will be required than in a grocery store, as a more complex layout of the sales area, work with lighting, etc. is required.
“A point can cost 10-12 million rubles. In addition, these stores require more expensive staff: sales consultants who understand cosmetics,” says the expert.
The first VkusVill Beautiful store will be located in a busy area, close to the metro and new residential complexes, which will ensure a large flow of customers.
Andrey Krivenko is a Russian entrepreneur and investor. He is the founder of the VkusVill retail chain, the Tiltech Capital fund and the Beyond Taylor company.
According to the company’s report, the turnover of the VkusVill retailer grew by 33% in the first half of the year and reached 183 billion rubles. The network increased its growth rate by 13%.
