Bluesky finally gained support for videos this Tuesday (10). The new feature was rolled out to all network users in version 1.91 of the app.
THE the ability to broadcast video is still limited“We are gradually rolling out the video streaming feature to ensure a seamless app,” the official Bluesky profile (@bsky.app on Bluesky) said. “This will take some time,” it continued.
Update 1.91 of the Bluesky app also introduced other new features such as: option to report posts for misleading contentpost-translation improvements and bug fixes.
Since the release of videos is distributed gradually, the number of posts in the format circulating there should be few. However, with the updated application, it is possible to view the content normally.

Bluesky is careful in Brazil
The announcement of support for the videos was also published in Portuguese, with the official translation suggesting that the platform acknowledges that a large portion of its audience speaks the language.
This type of communication has become standard on the platform’s official profile. While the adaptations aren’t perfect, the @bsky.app feed is filled with posts with announcements in Brazilian Portuguese.
