Apple has added the Repair Assistant feature to iOS 18. It is available for iPhone users and allows them to customize parts after repair.
For example, this feature can be used to configure a replacement iPhone display so that the TrueTone feature works in it. It only works with external components, which they last – if the part is removed from the “donor”, the system can block it until the person logs in with an Apple ID repair.
