The Association of Bloggers and Agencies (ABA) has drafted an official letter addressed to the Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, asking him to clarify the conditions of the amnesty promised by the president in his message to the Federal Parliament. Assembly of “small businesses” trapped in business fragmentation for the sake of tax optimization.

Associations of bloggers and agencies asked the authorities to clarify the conditions of a possible amnesty

In an appeal reviewed by Kommersant, the professional association on behalf of 50,000 bloggers and 46 agencies expresses its desire to know whether the mentioned bloggers and agencies will benefit from this amnesty.

On the one hand, blogging activity is not officially considered a separate line of business, so government support measures should not apply.

On the other hand, bloggers and agencies are usually small and medium-sized businesses. And in this case, they fully fit the definition of “small businesses” and can count on amnesty.

Lawyers draw attention to the fact that there is no talk at all about specific conditions for the amnesty. It is also unknown whether it will be limited to specific types of activities.

Tax optimization through company spin-offs is constantly growing, despite numerous litigations. This method is practiced by companies in various economic sectors, but in recent years it is the tax disputes in which bloggers participate that have attracted the attention of the public and the media.
