After Sony launched the PS5 Pro, PS5 disc drives quickly sold out at major US retailers like Amazon and Best Buy, but were still available at a few other stores like GameStop and Target (at the time of writing).

The PS5 Pro’s lack of a disc drive could make the already expensive console even more expensive for those who prefer real discs. Factor in the additional cost of the drive, and fans will be looking at paying around $780. Expensive? Yes.
