Intel Core Ultra 200 processors, codenamed Arrow Lake, are Intel’s next big step in 2024, and the technical datasheets for the new models have been leaked in full. All the material was leaked by Asian website Benchlife, which hinted at the next generation with five SKUs at launch.
As expected, the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K will be the flagship of the blue team’s new processor line. This model will feature 24 hybrid cores (8 performance cores and 16 efficiency cores), updated with the new Lion Cove and Skymont color architecture, in addition to a maximum cache of 76 MB.
As for clock speeds, the 285K should have a value close to 3.7GHz in base mode and up to 5.7GHz in turbo boost. Since it is a high-end model, the power consumption of this model will definitely be high, ranging from 125 to 250W.
New Ultra 5 and 7
Moving down a segment, the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K and 265KF (without iGPU) will retain the 20 cores (8+12) of the last generation. However, the maximum frequency of the model is 5.5 GHz, the cache capacity is 66 MB, and the energy consumption is equal to that of the Ultra 9.
On the other hand, intermediate models such as the Core Ultra 5 245K and 245KF have only 14 hybrid cores (6+8), a frequency of 5.2 GHz and 50 MB cache. However, their power consumption varies between 125 and 159 W.
It is also worth remembering that only models bearing the K suffix will have integrated Xe-LPG (Low Power Energy) graphics cards. All Intel Core Ultra 200 processors initially require updated motherboards with the Z890 chipset and LGA-1851 socket.
Arrow Lake CPUs are supposed to be available by the end of October, but there is no official announcement date yet.
